The Denham Springs Fine Art Association Fall Show "Things That Make Me Smile"

Just a reminder that DSFAA will take in art this Saturday, September 30th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arts Council of Livingston Parish located at 133 Hummel St., Denham Springs, LA. If you cannot make the above date, please call Sandra Middleton at (225) 664-9565 so that we can make arrangements to get your art entered in the show. Everyone is welcome to the meeting/reception on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 7 p.m.held at the Denham Springs/Walker Branch Library where the winners will be announced.The show will be on display at the Library to the month of October.

All artist and guest are invited to a "Plein Air" paint out this coming Thursday, March 16, 2017. DSFAA members are going to meet up at Cohn Arboretum Brec Park located at 12206 Foster Road, Baton Rouge, LA this Thursday for a fun day painting in the beautiful outdoors. The park hours are from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please pack a picnic lunch and join us for a fun art outing. DSFAA exhibits at the Arts Council of Livingston Parish

ACLP February Exhibit

From Feb. 4-25, the Arts Council of Livingston Parish will host a watercolor exhibit from Denham Springs Fine Art Association artists Mary Jane Hunt, Lynne Jones and Chris Jones. Also on exhibit will be a selection of art from Lara Crafton’s Gator Art Club of Gray’s Creek Elementary School. The Arts Council Second Saturday Reception will be held on Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the gallery, 133 Hummell Street, Denham Springs. The gallery is open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. For more information, visit www.artslivingston.org or call 664-1168.
